Kate Lambert

Kate Lambert (SAG/AFTRA, WGA, AEA, BMI) is an actor, improviser, writer, and producer living in Los Angeles.

She is a member of the comedy group, The Katydids, who are acting, writing, and executive producing a new series on TV Land called TEACHERS. The show premieres January 13, 2016 and is based on the web series for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at The Gold Coast Film Festival.

Prior to that, Kate lived in Chicago and performed in The Second City's 101st Mainstage revue, Let Them Eat Chaos. She is an alum of The Second City Touring Company and iO Chicago. She has performed at various festivals and theatres across the country including TBS Just for Laughs; La Jolla Playhouse; and The Upright Citizens Brigade. She also does voice over work.

Kate has written and acted in viral shorts that have been featured on such sites as The Huffington Post, MoveOn.Org, MTV, Cosmopolitan, Feministing, LaughSpin, College Humor, The Onion, and Italy's Vanity Fair. She graduated with a B.A. in Theatre from Wake Forest University.
