Kate Lambert (SAG/AFTRA, WGA, AEA) is an actor, improviser, and writer who recently relocated to Los Angeles from Chicago. She graduated with a B.A. in Theatre from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Most recently, The Katydids (a comedy group of which Kate is a member) were given a series order from TV Land for TEACHERS. The Katydids are acting, writing, and executive producing the series. The show is based on the web series for which Kate was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at The Gold Coast Film Festival and will be premiering in July 2015.

Prior to that, Kate lived in Chicago and performed in The Second City's 101st Mainstage revue, Let Them Eat Chaos. She is an alum of The Second City Touring Company and iO Chicago. She has also performed at various festivals and theatres across the country including TBS Just for Laughs in Chicago, IL; La Jolla Playhouse in La Jolla, CA; iO West in Los Angeles, CA; and The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC.

She has written and acted in viral shorts that have been featured on such sites as The Huffington Post, MoveOn.Org, MTV, Cosmopolitan, Feministing, LaughSpin, College Humor, and Italy's Vanity Fair. She also does voice over work.

She currently improvises at iO West with The Armando Diaz Experience. In addition to her Tumblr, Kate also writes two blogs: Ways to Make Friends at Work and How to be a Modern Woman. She continues to write and appear in new projects regularly, so check back often for updates.
